Creeping White Thyme (Thymus serpyllum ‘Albus’) is a low-growing, mat-forming herb with tiny white flowers and aromatic foliage. It’s ideal for groundcover, between pavers, or cascading over edges, and produces a soft carpet that blooms beautifully in late spring to summer.

In Melbourne and Adelaide, Creeping White Thyme thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. It handles light frosts and dry conditions well once established. Minimal watering is needed, especially during cooler months. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy shape and encourage new growth.

In Sydney and Brisbane, it benefits from protection from high humidity and excessive summer rainfall. Choose a sunny spot with excellent drainage, perhaps a raised bed or rockery.
