Salvia azurea produces 120cm long lax stems which are tipped with blue flowers from early summer until late autumn. Happiest in sun but will cope with a little light shade. It does need an occasional watering. 80cm x 100cm. Mulching is of great benefit to perennials like Salvia. Trim spent flowers to aid plants health, and prolong flowering.
Will also benefit from feeding twice per year with a complete plant food and liquid fertiliser.
