To grow Pontic rhododendron, choose a well-draining acidic soil with partial shade to protect it from intense sunlight. Provide regular watering and ensure the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged.
This rhododendron can reach a height of around 10 to 15 feet (3 to 4.5 meters) when fully mature. Pruning is beneficial to maintain a desirable shape and promote new growth. However, exercise caution as all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested. With proper care, Ponticum rhododendron can thrive and add beauty to gardens and landscapes.
