Sizing guide

One of our favorites here at Online Plants. Pittosporum tenuifolium golf ball lives up to its name. It keeps a near perfect rounded shape and is as tough and unbreakable as a golf ball.   Keeps a nearly perfect sphere shape without pruning.  Water moderately during its first summer, but after that little, if any maintenance is required.

It has bright green glossy foliage with tiny dark flowers in the spring. Uses include low hedging/border planting or they make stunning specimen plants in a rockery. Best grown in full sun, however, the golf ball can cope with a part shade position where it will reach .5mt high and wide.

Pittosporum Golf Ball is a small, evergreen shrub that is popular in landscaping and gardening. It is a dwarf cultivar of the Pittosporum tobira plant, which is native to Japan, Korea, and China. The Golf Ball variety is prized for its compact, rounded shape and small, dark green leaves that resemble a golf ball.

Pittosporum Golf Ball is commonly used in gardens, borders, and as a container plant. It is a low maintenance plant that is tolerant of a wide range of soil types and growing conditions. It prefers full sun to partial shade and regular watering, but can also tolerate periods of drought once established.

The plant produces small, fragrant flowers in the spring, which are followed by small, ornamental fruits in the fall. Pittosporum Golf Ball is a versatile and attractive plant that can add interest and texture to any landscape or garden.

Will benefit from feeding twice per year with complete plant food and liquid fertilizer.
