Liriope Elmarco

Liriope muscari Elmarco is a new release dwarf form of Liriope Big Blue, Renowned for its low compact shape and no fuss growth habit and hardiness. An evergreen, perennial plant with dark green, glossy foliage and attractive, fragrant bell-shaped liriope purple flowers.

CULTURAL Grows well in most soil types, in either full sun or partial shade and is tolerant of extensive dry periods and cold snaps once established. Low maintenance and hardy, this plant responds favourably to pruning and a light application of slow release fertiliser during the Winter, which promotes lush growth in Spring.

LANDSCAPE USE Mass planting under trees or informal borders for a fine grass effect. Also grows well in containers, pots, window box's. Its fine dark green foliage suits many styles of gardens including Modern Native, Tropical and Formal designs. More uniform and less prone to marking than seed grown varieties.
