Sizing guide

Corymbia eximia nana, also known as Dwarf Yellow Bloodwood, is a small tree that is native to Australia. It belongs to the family Myrtaceae and is a cultivar of the larger Corymbia eximia tree species.

The Dwarf Yellow Bloodwood typically grows to a height of around 4-6 meters, making it a great choice for small gardens or as a feature tree in larger landscapes. It has attractive, grey-green foliage that contrasts nicely with its distinctive, yellowish-brown bark, which peels away in thin strips.

In the summer months, the Dwarf Yellow Bloodwood produces clusters of creamy-white flowers that are very attractive to bees and other pollinators. The flowers are followed by small, urn-shaped fruit capsules that contain numerous tiny seeds.

The Dwarf Yellow Bloodwood is a hardy and adaptable tree that can tolerate a range of soil types, including clay and sandy soils. It prefers a sunny position and is well-suited to the Australian climate, being able to withstand both drought and frost.

This tree is commonly used in landscaping projects due to its compact size and attractive features. It can also be used for erosion control or to provide habitat for native wildlife. Plant in full sun or partial shade in well drained soil.  Only requires watering during first year of establishment.
