Correa decumbens - Spreading Correa. This is a small spreading shrub or ground-cover at around 1.5m wide and 30-50cm high in the centre of the plant. Tubular red and green flowers are seen in winter and at other times of the year, often in profusion. The deep green attractive leaves are 4cm long with the plant accepting frost as well as dry and moist well-drained soil.
It's a good choice for rockeries, native and cottage gardens in full sun or part shade. Correa decumbens is a very attractive small shrub for use in temperate areas of Australia and grows very nicely in containers.
