Anigozanthos flavidus Yellow is an attractive kangaroo paw, featuring large strappy leaves. It is an evergreen clumping perennial. Flowers are yellow and grow to a height of 1.5m from the ground, appearing in Summer. These flowers produce large amounts of nectar, attracting honey eating birds to the garden.
To grow Anigozanthos Flavidus Yellow, plant it in well-draining soil and a sunny location. Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in spring. Remove spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming. Protect from frost.
