Ajuga Feathered Friends™ Noble Nightingale is a low-growing, evergreen ground cover with deep burgundy foliage that intensifies in cooler months. In spring, it produces striking blue flower spikes, creating a beautiful contrast against the dark leaves. This variety is ideal for garden borders, rockeries, and underplanting shrubs or trees, offering year-round color and texture.  

In Melbourne and Adelaide, plant in part shade to full sun with well-draining, moisture-retentive soil. Regular watering is essential, especially during dry spells, but avoid waterlogging. In Sydney and Brisbane, provide more shade to protect from intense heat and humidity, ensuring adequate airflow to prevent fungal issues.  

For best growth, apply mulch to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. A light trim after flowering helps maintain compact growth. Fertilize in spring with a slow-release balanced fertilizer.
