Aeonium arboreum ‘Green’ is a striking succulent known for its lush, rosette-forming foliage in a bright, fresh green hue. Its upright, branching structure and glossy, fleshy leaves add architectural interest to garden beds, rockeries, and container displays. In winter to early spring, it produces tall, conical clusters of small, yellow flowers, enhancing its seasonal appeal.  

Thriving in Australia’s warm and dry conditions, this Aeonium prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established, requiring minimal watering, though occasional deep watering during extended dry spells helps maintain its vibrant appearance. Protecting it from excessive moisture in winter prevents root rot, and light pruning encourages a more compact, bushy form.  

Ideal companion plants include other drought-tolerant species like Agave, Sedum ‘Gold Mound,’ and Euphorbia ‘Ascot Rainbow,’ which provide contrasting colors and textures.
