Acmena smithii 'Sublime™ DOW30 PBR'

Acmena Sublime is a more recent addition to the Australian lilly pilly range. It is a hardy and attractive mid-sized evergreen tree with slightly drooping lime new growth and dense foliage to the ground.

Hedging or screening plant is its most common use.  Growing to 5-6mt at maturity. Masses of white fluffy flowers appear in summer with minimal berry production. Reasonably frost and drought tolerant once established.  

Acmena Sublime is a hardy plant that is relatively easy to grow. It prefers well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade. It can tolerate a wide range of soil types and pH levels. The plant is relatively drought-tolerant once established and does not require much maintenance. It can be pruned in late winter or early spring to control its size and shape.

Overall, Acmena Sublime is an excellent choice for gardeners looking for a low-maintenance tree or shrub that provides year-round interest with its attractive foliage, showy flowers, and edible fruit. Prefers a full sun position in open, well drained soil,  Moderate fertiliser.
