Grevillea Lanigera Mt. Tamboritha
Minimum order quantity for this plant in 14cm pots is 3 units
Grevillea lanigera ‘Mt. Tamboritha’ is a low-growing, spreading Australian native shrub known for its dense, woolly, grey-green foliage and profuse clusters of soft pink and cream spider-like flowers. Blooming from autumn to spring, its nectar-rich flowers attract birds, bees, and butterflies. Growing to about 30–50 cm in height and spreading up to 1.5 meters, it is ideal as a ground cover, in rockeries, garden borders, or mass plantings.
In Melbourne, Mt. Tamboritha thrives in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. It is highly drought-tolerant once established and can withstand light frost and coastal conditions. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce watering as needed. Light pruning after flowering encourages dense growth and extended blooming. Avoid phosphorus-rich fertilizers, as they can harm native plants. Hardy and low-maintenance, Mt. Tamboritha provides year-round color and texture while suppressing weeds in the landscape.
