Westringia Aussie Box is a great Australian native alternative to English box for formal hedging and borders. The advantage over these exotic species is its extreme drought tolerance and general robust growth and toughness. All this, whilst keeping a compact growth habit.
At maturity Aussie Box will stand 80cm-1mt tall and 50-70cm wide. However it can be trimmed as low as 50cm high and wide.
Delightful pale purple coloured flowers in Spring and summer abound this plant. Likes a sunny position in well drained, fertile soil.
Ideal for mass planting projects and commerical landscaping, consider also for borders and low hedging.
Will benefit from feeding twice per year with a complete
plant food and or liquid
