Agave Attenuata

Agave Attenuata is a perennial succulent with a central stem will also sprout other rosettes in time. It takes up to 10 years to grow a tall flower spike, up to 3mt tall, with clusters of very pretty creamy white bell shaped flowers in spring and summer.

This plant makes a great contrasting statement in the garden and is good for filling difficult corners.

Soil: Will grow in just about anything, however prefers well drained soils.

Maintenance: Water only in summer - being a succulent it stores its own moisture requirements for most of the time but summer is most demanding.

Wear gloves when removing leaves - as the sap can irritate the skin (causes burns and severe itching).
