Camellia Japonica, Brushfield's Yellow, Camellia 'Brushfield's Yellow' is a spectacular flowering evergreen ornamental shrub which should be planted in semi shade in slightly acidic, well drained semi-moist soil. It responds to a regular fertilize and watering, especially through spring and summer. Can be used in general landscaped gardens, as a flowering specimen in the garden or in a pot where the flowers will put on a showy display in late winter. 

At maturity will reach 3mt tall and 2-2.5mt wide. Can be trimmed smaller if needed. 

Camellia 'Brushfield's Yellow' is an Australian-bred cultivar that was developed in the late 1960s. It features near-white petals with creamy yellow petaloids, giving it an attractive appearance. The flowers are of the anemone type, and they bloom from mid-winter to early spring.  In terms of growth habit, 'Brushfield's Yellow' has an upright form, making it suitable for hedges or informal screens. It can be pruned to create a flat screen or topiary shape if desired. The plant thrives in shaded or sheltered positions and is known for its long-lasting flowers.

Once established, 'Brushfield's Yellow' is remarkably easy to grow and low-maintenance. It is not demanding in terms of care requirements and is generally easy to prune.
