Michelia Yunannense Scented Pearl

A beautiful form of evergreen magnolia selected for its compact shape, attractive foliage and outstanding flowering ability.  Scented Pearl Michelia  is a hardy evergreen shrub, tolerant of most conditions it does however grow best in a sheltered position in the garden and is pest and disease free. 

Plant in well drained, reasonably fertile garden soil, and use a magnolia fertilizer in Autumn and Spring. Mulching will help keep roots barely moist and cool through summer.

Slightly scented creamy-white flowers are produced in abundance during Spring, making for a spectacular display of color and fragrance. The old flowers fall to the base of the plant, further adding to the mystique of this marvelous specimen tree.
