Juniperus Chinensis Spartan

Juniperus Spartan is one of our favorite conifers at onlineplants.  Excellent screening, hedging plant because of its uniformity and hardiness.  Very hardy, and drought tolerant once established.  Plant at 80cm-1mt intervals for dense, evergreen screen. 

Could be described as a shorter, fatter Pencil Pine. Grows to approx 4-5mt x 1mt, but can be pruned as low as 2mt for a formal hedge appearance. Beautiful emerald green foliage. Will grow in sun or shade. Trims well, used for topiary.  Equally popular as a screening shrub or hedge.  Fast growing and very hardy,  They are also very consistent in growth.  Plant as a line of shrubs at the same maturity for a dense, identical screen.
