Ilex crenata Fastigiata Sky Pencil

Ilex sky Pencil is a very narrow evergreen tidy shrub, very upright and slender, ideal for narrow pathways and window boxes where space is at a premium. Can be used to great effect in narrow entrances and can be pruned as a distinctive topiary feature plant. Plant into well drained, fertile garden soil with added compost if possible. Will benefit from annual complete organic fertilizer application. Mulch well and water regularly for the first twelve weeks until the plant is established.
Pruning is not usually required. Tolerates frost and dry conditions once established. At maturity will reach 2mt tall and 30-40cm wide.
