This compact evergreen shrub with bunches of sweetly scented white flowers in spring,  An impressive, semi-formal hedging plant. Grows well in moist, fertile, well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Great as a hedge or individually planted. Prune lightly to maintain compact growth. Plant with Japanese star jasmine as a groundcover for an impressive effect.
