Agonis Burgundy, Willow Myrtle
Agonis Burgundy Willow Myrtle. This tree bears white clusters of flowers which last for a long time. However its main feature is the beautiful weeping pendulous habit. Combined with the spectacular dark burgundy coloured foliage. The leaves are aromatic when crushed. Grows best in a semi-sheltered position, keep barely moist during summer. Mulching is a great way to help with this.
Great Australian native plant for screening and hedging. Fairly fast growing also.
At maturity can reach 5-6mt tall and 2-3mt wide.
Will benefit from feeding twice per year with a complete
plant food and or liquid
fertilizer. For further inquiries please use our free
