Vaccinium 'Elliot' is a late-season, deciduous blueberry variety known for its firm, sweet-tart berries and high yields. It produces small white to pinkish bell-shaped flowers in spring, followed by fruit ripening from late summer into early autumn. The plant features attractive red foliage in autumn, making it both productive and ornamental.

In Melbourne and Adelaide, Elliot performs well in a sunny spot with acidic, well-drained soil and regular watering, especially during dry periods. Mulch with pine bark or needles to maintain soil acidity and moisture. Pruning in winter helps maintain shape and encourage new growth.

In Sydney and Brisbane, provide afternoon shade in summer to protect from intense heat. Ensure the soil remains consistently moist but not soggy. Container growing is ideal in these regions to better control soil pH and drainage. Regular feeding with an acid-loving plant fertilizer supports healthy growth and fruit production.
