Lavender Avonview

Avonview Lavender is an extremely popular stoeches variety of lavender. Remember to remove spent flowers to promote new growth and further flowering. Extended flowering period if pruned regularly. Best in garden beds as mass planting, containers or in isolation. Deep purple flowers spring through to autumn. Grows to 80cm tall and wide. Best position is the full sun in open, rich soil. Prune Lavender Avonview in the spring after the last frost. Remove any dead or damaged wood, and shape the plant by cutting back the new growth by about one-third. This will help to promote bushier growth and more flowers. Lavender Avonview does not like to be overwatered, and it is drought-tolerant once established. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid getting the foliage wet when watering.
