The Diamonds in the Dark® 'Lavender Lace' is a deciduous Crepe Myrtle, which has standout dark, almost black foliage in spring. Lavender Lace Crepe Myrtle makes a stunning hedge, or awesome specimen plants in groups or individually. Can be planted along borders or driveways or put in a container as a feature plant on your patio or balcony. The  'Lavender Lace' displays masses of lavender flowers in summer through to autumn. The drought tolerant plant is great size for smaller gardens.  

Expected height at maturity is 3mt.  No pruning is required.  Will benefit from a feed with organic fertilser in early spring. 

Like other crepe myrtles, 'Lavender Lace' prefers a sunny location and well-drained soil. It is generally easy to care for and is relatively drought-tolerant once established. Crepe myrtles are commonly used as specimen plants or in group plantings in the landscape, and they also make excellent container plants.

This particular variety of crepe myrtle features stunning lavender-colored flowers that bloom in mid to late summer. The flowers are produced in large clusters, and they contrast beautifully with the dark, almost black foliage of the plant. 'Lavender Lace' is a relatively small cultivar.
