Hebe Buxifolia

Hebe buxifolia is a small evergreen shrub that is native to New Zealand. It is a member of the Hebe genus, which includes many species of shrubs and sub-shrubs.

The plant is known for its small, boxwood-like leaves, which are dark green and slightly glossy. The leaves are arranged opposite each other along the stems and have a slightly serrated edge. The plant produces medium, white snowball flowers in the summer and periodically through the year, which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.

In terms of growth, Hebe buxifolia reaches a height of around 60cm - 1mt tall and wide at maturity, making it a great choice for smaller gardens or landscapes. It prefers well-draining soil and full sun to part shade and is relatively drought-tolerant once established.
