Lomandra Lime Tuff

Lomandra Lime Tuff is a compact selection of Lomandra and one of our favorite landscape grasses at online plants.  The fine lime green leaves that stay lush all year round, also have summer fragrant small yellow flower spikes emerging. This plant is extremely hardy and tolerates frost and drought conditions. Grows in full sun to part shade and is adaptable to most clay, loam and well drained soils and performs well under trees. Trim back foliage 1/3 to half every 3 to 5 years, if needed. At maturity will reach 80cm tall and wide. 

Lomandra Lime Tuff is a cultivar of Lomandra longifolia, a perennial, evergreen grass-like plant native to Australia. It has narrow, strap-like leaves that are a light lime-green color and are around 30cm (12in) long. The leaves grow in a tufted habit, forming clumps.
