Magnolia Lilliiflora X Campbellii Star Wars

Magnolia Star Wars - A very long flowering magnolia, producing a magnificent display in spring and intermittent flowers in summer and autumn. The large pointed flowers are a bright pink colour. 

The Star Wars Magnolia is a larger-growing variety of Magnolia tree known for its impressive characteristics. It produces enormous dark purple/pink buds that open into large pink flowers, gradually fading to white at the tips. The tree is quite precocious, meaning it starts flowering at a young age. When mature, it can bear flowers that are up to 30cmacross. Notably, this particular variety also emits a strong fragrance from its beautiful blooms.

Star Wars Magnolia trees are frost-hardy deciduous small trees. They showcase their large goblet-shaped blooms on bare branches during late winter to early spring. As the season progresses, large green leaves emerge, which eventually turn into shades of gold in autumn. Due to their striking appearance and compact size, Magnolias are often cultivated as specimen trees in small gardens or courtyards. They also make impressive plantings along driveways.

The Star Wars Magnolia has received recognition for its outstanding qualities, having been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
