Liriope Lucky

Liriope Lucky is a delightful low border shrub ideal for shaded areas.  A tough little evergreen grass with glossy green strap foliage. At maturity will only stand 30cm tall and wide. The Liriope Lucky is clump forming and non-invasive with mauve pink flowers in late summer. Great for mass planting or in low window boxes. Can be used as a lawn substitute in shaded areas. Consider spreading snail pellets to help protect foliage. 

Liriope muscari Lucky is a hardy evergreen perennial with glossy green, strappy leaves. It typically grows to a height of approximately 30cm. The plant forms clumps that expand slowly and are not invasive. In late summer, mauve flower spikes emerge above the foliage, followed by black-colored berries in winter. This plant is suitable for mass planting as a lawn alternative, as well as for adding drifts of color to borders, using in containers, and edging pathways. It is a tough and versatile plant option.

Will benefit from feeding twice per year with a complete plant food and or liquid fertilizer.
