Belonging to the Iris family it is a perennial growing in tufts of narrow foliage. Reaching 60cm tall and wide. Plant Libertia in to well drained, fertile soil, in a sunny position in a sunny position in the garden.
The Orange tones of this form of Libertia are excellent as a contrast shrub when planted with other equally hardy, drought tolerant plants such as cotyledon silver waves and Euphorbia. Not know for its flowering capabilities, the main feature of Libertia is its year round orange foliage.
