Sizing guide

Eucalyptus cinerea Argyle Apple is a small to medium sized Australian native tree with reddish-brown to grey-brown rough bark on the trunk and larger branches. Common names include Agyle Apple, Silver Dollar Gum and Baby Blue.  Makes a beautiful landscape specimen, planted singly or in groups. It has distinctive, blue-green aromatic foliage. The creamy yellow flowers are insignificant.

It is known by its round grey-blue leaves that often pop up in floral arrangements. This variety makes a nice medium-sized feature tree in small to large gardens due to its distinctive blue-green foliage. Stems are popular in cut flower arrangements.

To grow Eucalyptus cinerea (Argyle Apple), start by selecting a sunny location with well-drained soil.  Once established, water moderately and fertilize sparingly. Prune to promote bushier growth. This drought-tolerant tree reaches 6-8mt in height and 4-6mt in width at maturity. Excellent as a specimen feature tree and can even be grown in a large container
