Escallonia Pink Pixie is a low growing compact shrub. Excellent for low border planting. Beautiful rich pink flowers in spring and summer. Grows to 80cm high and wide. Prune after flowering to maintain shape. Likes a full sun or part shade position in well drained fertile soil. Frost tolerant.

Ideal plant to line pathways or herb gardens. Consider using as a semi formal border plant in front of larger screening Lilly PIlly species. Although tolerant of dry conditions they do like to be kept just moist during extended dry periods.  Annual mulching will help with this.
