Escallonia Iveyi

Escallonia Iveyi is a Full, fast growing hedge shrub that is extremely attractive and easy to grow. Masses of white flowers occur regularly. Grows to 2mt high if left alone.  However best grown as a dense shrub, pruned to 1-1.2mt.  

Escallonia Iveyi is an Old fashioned hedging form of Escallonias, Very useful in all garden situations. This dense rounded leaf shrub is great for hedging or screening options. The  flowers are clusters of pure white throughout Summer and are quiet fragrant.  Of course  with the ususal escallonia glossy green leaves.

Drought and coastal tolerant, Iveyi is a very adaptable, attractive, bright plant.
Plant in well drained moist sandy soil is preferred but will tolerate clay and chalk. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.

Will benefit from feeding twice per year with a complete plant food and or liquid fertilizer.
