Grevillea Red Hooks A useful large shrub growing to 3mt tall can be used for informal hedging and screening, with its dense growth habit and ability to grow in most soils and climates. It has near year round spot flowering, with extra bursts in winter and spring, with red toothbrush form flowers. It responds well to pruning to keep it even more compact Grevillea has pinnate leaves with narrow-linear lobes. The inflorescences comprise greyish-green perianths and red styles which bend backwards.

Grevillea 'Red Hooks' is a drought-tolerant evergreen shrub that grows up to 6 to 8 feet (1.8 to 2.4 meters) tall and wide. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. This plant is suitable for coastal gardens and can handle some frost. Regular watering is necessary during the establishment period, but it becomes more drought-tolerant once established. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a compact shape. 'Red Hooks' attracts birds with its showy red flowers and provides an attractive addition to native gardens or xeriscapes.

Drought tolerant once established.  Will benefit from annual feeding with a native complete plant fertiliser.
