Banksia marginata, commonly known as Silver Banksia, is a species of shrub or small tree that belongs to the family Proteaceae. It is native to southeastern Australia, particularly in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia.

The Silver Banksia can grow up to 6 meters tall, but usually grows as a smaller shrub in exposed coastal areas. It has distinctive silver-grey leaves that are oval-shaped and toothed. The tree produces cylindrical, golden-yellow flower spikes that bloom in late summer and autumn, attracting nectar-feeding birds such as honeyeaters.
