An upright slender shrub with dark green foliage and abundant flowers. The flowers are white with yellow centres, sometimes speckled with crimson. The entire plant is covered with a sticky resin that lets off a perfume in the heat. This plant needs dry conditions to do well, so a useful plant for climates with hot, dry summers.

For best results plant in loose, coarse, very well drained soil, and light organice fertislier in Spring and Autumn.  Prefers a cool root-run.  Mulch in summer to maintain a cool soil temperature. Light tip-pruning will encourage bushy growth, but it does not respond well to heavy pruning.
