Banksia Roller Coaster, is an awesome prostrate native for coastal areas.  Very vigorous and hardy in windswept positions.  
A small native shrub with dull green leaves. Produces a mass of long, pale yellow flower spikes from autumn until spring. Can grow to 0.7m high and 2.5m wide. 
Excellent growing over retaining walls and embankments,  Can even be grown in pots cascading over the sides with statement plants like Brachychiton.  
Like well drained soil,  and keep barely moist during initial planting, and occasional watering once established.
