Azalea Kurume, Hinode Giri, Compact, broadleaf evergreen shrub with light, glossy green foliage which may turn wine red in fall and winter. Single, vivid purplish-red flowers in early spring.

At maturity will reach close to 1mt tall and wide. Dark green leaves and white or pink flowers blooming in the spring. The flowers are fragrant, making this plant a ideal  for walkways or patio areas.  Wildlife attracting form. 
Like all Azalea species, likes to be planted in a sheltered, moist position in the garden. Away from strong winds and full summer sun.  For best results feed with an organic Azalea fertilizer in Spring.
