Eucalyptus Sideroxylon Rosea Pink Flower Ironbark

A beautiful ornamental Australian tree growing to 20mt with weeping grey green foliage and dark furrowed bark. In winter and spring it produces pink flowers. Ideal for large estates as a fast growing windbreak.

This Australian native tree is indigenous to eastern Australia. It has distinctive, very dark brown to black coloured bark which is deeply furrowed and does not shed. The dramatic bark provides great contrast to the foliage which is blueish-grey-green in colour. From winter to early spring, pink to red flowers are borne in clusters of seven. This tree creates a great habitat for native fauna and is a valuable source for honey production.
