Himalayacalamus porcatus Nepalese blue bamboo

Nepalese blue bamboo is available from onlineplants. Its a smaller growing ornamental form which will reach around 3mt tall when fully grown. The dark blue stalk of the plant gives it an awesome contrast effect to usual green foliaged plants. Very hardy and excellent in a part shade position, great in pots or use a screen plant at 70cm-1mt apart.

Beautiful plant to use in a tropical situation, or underplanting beneath taller palms or trees.
  As with most bamboo it likes to be kept moist and fed regularly with organic complete fertiliser.
