Laurus Nobilis Miles Choice Bay Tree

Laurus Nobilis Miles Choice Bay Tree  is an improved form of the more common Bay Tree,  It has been specifically bred to maintain a more compact and dense habit, is also drought and salt tolerant tree. Produces yellow flowers which occur between September to October.
Miles Choice prefers a moist well drained soil in full sun through to partial shade. At maturity will stand 6mt tall and 3mt wide, although they can be pruned down significantly smaller if need. 

An effective slow growing hedging/screening plant that can be kept clipped from 1-4 metres, or left to grow into a medium sized tree. Its dark green leaves provide an ideal backdrop for other plants. An excellent plant for topiary and is well suited to formal gardens. Its dried leaves are used in cooking and so it is an essential plant in any kitchen garden.Will benefit from feeding twice per year with a complete plant food and or liquid fertilizer.
